What is Peleka?
Peleka is an email marketing platform for anyone who sends to a list of their own. It brings broadcasts, visual automations, smart audience segments, templates, signup forms and landing pages, and analytics into one product.
Who is Peleka built for?
Anyone with a list of their own: newsletters and publishers, online stores, SaaS teams, nonprofits, and agencies sending on behalf of clients. Peleka works as a general email marketing platform at every size on the pricing ladder, and a viewer role means you can hand clients or stakeholders read-only access without giving up control.
Do I need a Shopify or WooCommerce store to use Peleka?
No. Peleka works as a standalone email marketing platform without any store connected. Connecting a Shopify or WooCommerce store unlocks smart segments built from purchase data and revenue attribution, but it isn't required.
Features
Can I build automated email sequences?
Peleka's automation builder lets you create visual, branching workflows triggered by signups, tag changes, store events like an order being placed or a cart being abandoned, or a date on a contact such as a birthday or renewal. Date triggers can send on the day, or up to 90 days before or after it.
Does Peleka support abandoned cart emails?
Abandoned cart is a built-in automation trigger for connected stores.
Can I segment my audience by purchase history?
Smart segments built from store data, like recent purchasers or order value, update on their own. A custom segment builder also lets you combine conditions with AND/OR logic.
Does Peleka support double opt-in?
Enable double opt-in per form, and consent gets recorded in an audit trail.
Can I create popups and landing pages, not just embedded forms?
Peleka supports inline forms, popups, slide-ins, sticky bars, and standalone landing pages, all from the same builder.
Do I need design skills to build emails or templates?
No. Peleka's builder is block-based (text, images, buttons, columns, and more) and built for people without design or coding experience.
Integrations
Does Peleka integrate with Shopify?
Connect a Shopify store to sync customers, build smart segments from purchase behavior, and trigger automations from store events.
Does Peleka integrate with WooCommerce?
Connect a WordPress store running WooCommerce in one click, for the same segment and automation capabilities.
Can Peleka show me revenue from my email campaigns?
Using last-touch attribution, an order gets credited to the broadcast a customer most recently opened (within 5 days) or clicked (within 30 days) before buying. It works the same way for Shopify and WooCommerce.
Does Peleka have an API?
Every workspace can mint API keys, scoped read-only or read-write, and revoke them at any time. The reference lives at developers.peleka.io.
Does Peleka support webhooks?
Thirteen events cover the contact lifecycle, broadcast delivery, automation enrollment, and form submissions, so your systems hear about changes without polling for them. Each endpoint gets a signing secret, shown once at creation.
AI assistant
Can I connect Peleka to Claude or another AI assistant?
Claude connects by signing in, with nothing to install. Peleka is built on MCP, the open standard assistants use to reach other apps, so any assistant supporting it can connect as well.
What can the AI assistant do in my account?
Sixty different things, including drafting and scheduling broadcasts, building automations and segments, tagging contacts, managing unsubscribes, uploading images, and reading any of your reports.
Can an AI assistant send emails without my approval?
No. Before it sends, schedules, or deletes anything, it stops and shows you what's about to happen, and you have five minutes to approve. The check runs on our servers rather than inside the assistant, so it isn't a warning the AI can talk itself past.
Does the AI assistant cost extra?
It's part of every plan. Peleka prices on contact list size alone, so there's no AI tier to upgrade into.
Pricing
How does Peleka pricing work?
Peleka prices by contact list size, not by how many emails you send, so you can send as often as you want without worrying about per-email costs.
Is there a free trial?
Every new account gets 500 contacts and 500 sends free, with no credit card required.
Can I cancel anytime?
Cancel from your billing settings whenever you want. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.
Deliverability
Does Peleka help my emails reach the inbox?
Peleka sets up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC for your domain, warms it up automatically over about two weeks, and pauses sending on its own if bounces or complaints climb too high. Our deliverability page covers how each part works.
Do I have to set up DNS records myself?
Peleka works out who runs your DNS and recognizes eleven of the common registrars. Where the registrar supports one-click setup you just approve the change; otherwise you get the exact records and a link to your provider's instructions.
Can I send from a Gmail or Yahoo address?
No. Those providers publish DMARC policies telling mailbox providers to reject mail sent as them by third parties, so it would land in spam. Senders have to use a domain you've verified in Peleka.
Security & compliance
Is Peleka GDPR compliant?
Peleka is built to help you meet your GDPR obligations: consent capture at checkout, self-serve contact deletion, automatic Shopify compliance webhooks, and a publicly available Data Processing Agreement.
Does Peleka have a Data Processing Agreement (DPA)?
It's publicly available and automatically incorporated into our Terms of Service, so most customers don't need a separate contract.
